We operate a corporate social media presence on Instagram. On our company profile, we provide information and offer Instagram users the opportunity to communicate with us. If you carry out an action on our profile (e.g. comments, likes, etc.), you may provide us withyour personal data (e.g. name, pseudonym or photo of your user profile).
In operating our company profile on Instagram, we process data and, in doing so, share joint responsibility with Meta for the processing of so-called “Page Insights” data. We have also integrated our videos, which you can access on YouTube, on our website. These videos are hosted on YouTube. No connection to the YouTube video service is established when you access our pages. If you click on the play button (triangle) in the centre of the video, a data connection is established with YouTube so that the video can be played. To display the requested video in your browser, it is technically necessary to process your IP address. The legal basis for the processing of your data for the purpose of playing the YouTube video is your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1) lit. a) GDPR. 9. Job Application
If you send us an application, we process the associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes from job interviews) insofar as this is necessary for the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1) lit. b GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 German Federal Data Protection Act. In this context, we use the recruiting service provider ‘Ashby’ of Ashby Inc., 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94104 as a so-called processor. We commission Ashby with the processing of personal data on our behalf for the technical implementation of the application process and secure the data processing with technical, organizational and legal measures.
Within our company, only those people who are entrusted with processing your application will have access to your personal data. In the event of a successful application process, your submitted data will be stored in our systems for thepurpose of implementing the employment relationship. If no employment relationship is established, your submitted data will be stored based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR for up to six monthsafter completion of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of theapplication). This storage serves in particular the assertion or defence of legal claims. After this period has expired, your data will be deleted or physical application documents destroyed. If it becomes apparent before the expiryof this period that further storage is necessary due to an impending or pending legal dispute, the data will only be deleted once the purpose of storage nolonger applies. Data may be stored for longer if you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6(1) lit. a) GDPR or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
